How many calories do you think I just burned?

Sorry to tell you this but weight training doesn't burn that much calories. First of all because weight training isnt continuous. Meaning you lift for about 15 seconds then take a 2 minute break. Also when you weight train you use sugar as an energy source not fat like you do when doing cardio. If you walk at a fast pace for about 1 hour you will burn around 400 calories. What you did right now only burned probably 150 calories at most. Not to say weight training is bad because i do lots of weight training its great for building muscle but for burning calories cardio like walking and jogging is king.
