What is the biggest question that you have when it comes to buying a fish for your kids?

A lot of kids really love to watch fish, and they're also a great learning opportunity for them. As a parent, what is the biggest question you've had about getting your kid a fish, or what is the biggest problem you foresee as a result? Thanks in advance :).
