In IT field , What's the difference between Test Scripts and Business Transaction documents?

I am getting trained right now on peoplesoft. But I am finding it hard to figure out the difference between BT's and Test scripts. What's the main difference between them that could help me. I have tons of BT documents and Test Scripts on my computer. I just want like an answer from someone who has experience with them.
