Is TV harder to write for than film?

I would say it would be harder because you have to think long term and provide enough scenarios and opportunities for characters to grow and develop whereas in movies, it's a one time thing and then it's done so there's less time for plot and characters to develop. TV writers have to think more longterm and have more of a vision, that's my opinion anyways.
