Dentists Advice Only: I need help with my gap teeth and the orthofill bands?

Ok i have a gap between my two front teeth and also gaps between my two lateral incisors and my canines on both sides..basically its my central incisor, then a gap, lateral incisor, then a gap, and the next tooth is my canine which is fine. Besides the gap between my two front teeth how do i apply the orthofill bands around my lateral incisor and canine properly without causing another gap...your advice is greatly appreciated thanks!!
